Organic French lemon verbena

With its clear lemon fragrance and soft herbal flavour, lemon verbena (Aloysia citrodora) is one of our favourite plants for an evening infusion. Our organically grown, cut leaves are sourced directly from a producer in France.

Also called fragrant verbena, this plant should not be confused with common vervain (Verbena officinalis) or with lemongrass: they are different plants despite occasional similarities in aroma and common names.

How to enjoy lemon verbena

Infuse the fragrant leaves and enjoy them on their own, or blend with other gentle herbs. Its citrus scent makes it particularly pleasant after a meal or at the end of the day. Serve plain to appreciate the delicacy of the leaves; it can also be enjoyed chilled.
