Our organic after-dinner herbal blend
Our organic Digestive Herbal Blend is an original Chabiothé recipe inspired by herbs traditionally enjoyed after meals. We combine fennel, mint, chamomile and liquorice for their distinctive flavours and their long history of use in herbal infusions.
Fresh mint leaves contrast beautifully with the natural sweetness of liquorice. The gently aniseed flavour of fennel seeds and the soft, rounded character of chamomile flowers bring the blend together in a fragrant, soothing-tasting cup.
We add no flavourings, letting the ingredients speak for themselves.
How to prepare the infusion
Steep 2 g in 30 cl of water at 95°C for 7–10 minutes, then strain.
Liquorice and chamomile give the drink a naturally mellow, slightly sweet flavour, so you may not need sugar. If you prefer a little extra sweetness, add honey once the infusion has cooled slightly.
When to enjoy this herbal blend
This herbal infusion is suitable for enjoying at any time of day, particularly after a meal. It is naturally caffeine-free and can make a pleasant part of your evening routine.
Please note: liquorice is not suitable for everyone. People with high blood pressure and anyone taking medication should check whether liquorice is appropriate for them.
