What is the difference between a herbal tea and an infusion?
Infusion describes a way of preparing a drink: hot water is poured over plant material such as leaves, flowers or roots to extract its soluble compounds and flavours. A herbal tea, also called a tisane, is the drink made by infusing herbs and other botanicals.
How do you prepare a herbal infusion?
Pour hot water, usually between 70°C and 90°C, over the herbs. Cover and leave to infuse for 5 to 10 minutes, then strain and enjoy. Always follow the preparation instructions for your chosen blend.
Which herbal infusion should you choose?
Our herbal teas offer a wide range of flavours. Choose lemon verbena, lavender or lemon balm for a gentle, fragrant cup. For a fresher taste after a meal, explore peppermint, fennel or camomile. There are plenty of delicious ways to enjoy plants in your daily routine.
