Elegant, fragrant and beautifully colourful, our edible organic Damask rosebuds (Rosa × damascena) come from Iran. Their captivating floral scent has made Damask roses popular in Middle Eastern cuisine, sweets, drinks and scented preparations for generations.
The Damask rose has a long history stretching across the Middle East and North Africa. Our supply origin changed to Iran in 2025, reflecting difficulties affecting rose cultivation in Morocco.
How to use rosebuds
Infuse the rosebuds in hot water for a beautifully fragrant floral drink. You can also blend them with green tea or other herbs, or use edible rose petals to decorate cakes, biscuits, salads and desserts. Start with a small quantity so that the fragrance stays delicate rather than overpowering.
