Our organic Darjeeling black tea
Darjeeling is cultivated in the hills around the town of the same name in northern India, in the foothills of the Himalayas. Admired for its refinement, it is sometimes called the Champagne of teas. Our organic Darjeeling is graded FTGFOP1 and brings delicate fruity, floral notes with a distinctive hint of apricot and beeswax.
Compared with a very bold Assam, Darjeeling often has a lighter body and a more nuanced character, rewarding careful brewing.
How to enjoy Darjeeling
Use water around 80°C and infuse for approximately four minutes. Try it without milk or sugar first to appreciate its delicate aroma. It pairs beautifully with light pastries and makes an elegant morning or afternoon cup.
